One of the things that I truly believe and have been shown, is that our loved ones in Spirit are around more often than we think and they will give us signs that they are around
Let me show you how in the following story....
A few years back I was packing things up for a move. As I was putting things in boxes and sorting them by room, I came across an obituary of a friend who had passed away a few years earlier. As I sat there talking out loud to her and reminiscing about some of our fun times together, I said out loud to her. "I hope you are well wherever you are. In fact, I know you are well and wish I could pick up the phone and talk to you. I wonder how your mom, sister and all your family are doing. I've been a terrible friend because I haven't checked on them to see how they're doing. I'm so sorry." I talked to her a little more and wished her well and continued packing.
A few days later I was out with my family at a Mexican restaurant. There was quite a crowd, so we had to wait for a table. While having small talk with family, I looked up and was stunned with what I saw. Coming out of the dining area and leaving the restaurant, was my friend's mom, sister and other family members! I couldn't believe it! I was in total shock because just a few days earlier, I was talking to their loved one, my friend and now here they are. In front of me. As they spoke to me, I could hardly concentrate on what they were saying. I immediately knew my friend was letting me know that she had heard every word I had said to her when I was packing. She let me know her family was fine and gave me validation that Spirit really is around us-listening to us, guiding us and supporting us, but most of all, still loving us and involved in our lives, just in a different way.
I teared up and silently thanked her for giving me that wonderful Spirit gift.
This story is just one of the many ways Spirit has shown up in my life. I implore you. Ask them for signs, but be open to the way that they may bring them to you.
